Mentoring USA Founder’s book aired through the Center for Evidence-Based Mentoring Podcasts

New York, NY (Tuesday, June 9, 2015) – Mentoring USA is pleased to announce a partnership with the MENTOR/UMB: Center for Evidence Based Mentoring and the internationally renowned mentoring researcher Dr. Jean Rhodes around the airing of podcasts about prominent people and their mentors. The podcasts draw from the entries of the critically acclaimed book, The Person Who Changed My Life, which was edited by Mrs. Matilda Raffa Cuomo, the former first Lady of New York, and founder of Mentoring USA twenty years ago. Among the contributors are Hillary Rodham Clinton, Joe Torre, Rosie O'Donnell, Nora Ephron, General Colin Powell, and many others.

Mentoring USA Executive Director Receives Wall Street Alphas Charitable Foundation Award

New York, NY (Wednesday, June 3, 2015) - Stephen Powell, Executive Director of Mentoring USA, was honored to receive the Wall Street Alphas Charitable Foundation's award. This award was presented at the SIP event held in the Greenberg Lounge at NYU's Law School Vanderbilt Hall. Four distinguished and extraordinary men who mentor: Stephen Powell, Executive Director of Mentoring USA; Charles F. Coleman Jr., Founder of Edge NYC; Jerrell Antoine Horton, Founder of Suit Dreams; and Jermaine Wright, Director of CUNY Black Male Initiative.
