New York, NY (February 5, 2009) - Mentoring USA, one of the nation's first site-based one-to-one mentoring programs, announced today the receipt of a $20,000 grant from the United States Tennis Association's charitable entity USTA Serves. The USTA Serves Foundation for Academics, Character, Excellence (ACE) awarded 39 grants in its final "Aces for Kids" funding cycle for 2008 and Mentoring USA received one to put towards combining tennis and education by adding Quick Start tennis programs to Mentoring USA's healthy lifestyles curriculum in New York City, Newark, Las Vegas, and Houston.
