Held every three years and sponsored by the Holy See’s Pontifical Council for the Family, the World Meeting of Families is the world’s largest gathering of Catholic families. The focus of Mrs. Cuomo’s speech will be the social stability of children and families.

Parents, students, and communities around the country were able to learn from Mentoring USA’s structured, site-based mentoring curriculum that focuses on fostering an appreciation for diversity, building self-esteem, maintaining a healthy lifestyle and financial education and responsibility.

The podcasts draw from the entries of the critically acclaimed book, The Person Who Changed My Life, which was edited by Mrs. Matilda Raffa Cuomo, the former first Lady of New York, and founder of Mentoring USA twenty years ago. Among the contributors are Hillary Rodham Clinton, Joe Torre, Rosie O'Donnell, Nora Ephron, General Colin Powell, and many others.

May 28, 2015: Mentoring USA’s partner, WWE, won immeasurable points in the “Eagle Academy Ring” yesterday. Underscoring their Anti-Bullying program, Be a STAR, WWE hosted a Be a STAR Rally at the Eagle Academy of Newark, a school that empowers young men to become academic achievers, engaged citizens, and responsible men by providing quality education, resources and proven effective community-based initiatives to address the shortfalls in public education to effectively educate them.
