New York, NY (Thursday, January 22, 2015): Bloomingdale’s commitment to underserved youth in the United States and its commitment to Mentoring USA is significant and unwavering. Showcasing its meaningful and impactful investment in Mentoring USA, Bloomingdale’s and the NBA are generously auctioning off 2 VIP Tickets to the 2015 NBA All Star Game, Roundtrip Airfare, Hotel Accommodations, a Private Tour of Madison Square Garden, a $2,500 Bloomingdale’s Shopping Spree and More – click here to bid! “Bloomingdale’s has been supporting Mentoring USA for over 17 years across the country. As the largest group of mentors within Mentoring USA, there are currently over 160 Bloomingdale’s employees that serve as mentors,” said Anne Keating, Bloomingdale’s Senior Vice President of Public Relations, Special Events, Corporate Philanthropy. “Bloomingdale’s has supported various fundraising programs over the years including Fashionable Fundraiser, a 3-day nation-wide event which raises much needed funds for Mentoring USA. This year’s event will be held from February 24 – 26 at all Bloomingdale’s locations. We continue to honor Mentoring USA’s vision with special events and promotions such as the NBA All-Star Game auction in which 100% of proceeds benefit the charity.”
